Norwich University has partnered with the American Public Works Association to offer a Public Works Administration concentration in our Master of Public Administration (MPA) program.

The Public Works concentration is offered as a 12 credit-course for the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program. The concentration is comprised of two sequential 11-week seminars (Parts I & II). Topics for this concentration include public works management, the policy-making process, communications, enforcement, emergency management, public works planning, contract administration, project management, multi-year financing of public works projects, environmental impacts, cost-benefit analyses, decision-making modeling, multi-jurisdictional services, public-private joint ventures and sustainability.
